This extension sends email notifications to recipients specified in its settings once an entry expires. It can also close expired entries in order to make them easier to spot in the Control Panel. You may set up different recipients for each weblog.
Application example:
You have an entry that contains an advertisment for a limited time offer.
If you’re too lazy to remember the date, you just set the entry to expire when the offer runs out and get notified once that happens.
Then you can remove / replace the ad-code.
