The purpose of the Framed-Module is to embed arbitrary external websites into the Control Panel for easy, centralized access. This is done using an iframes and a simple interface to store your bookmarks.
This can be any kind of sites, like your access statistics, the control panels of external scripts you run alongside ExpressionEngine or latest hockey results. It’s up to you.
Donationware means you may use this addon in as many installations as you like. You are not required to pay anything for it, I would however appreciate a small donation if you like the addon and continue to use it. The amount is totally up to you.

This module is very easy to be integrated in a website, without any stability problems. Maybe is a good idea to promote better this website module.
